To have a dental implant in Hungary you have to visit us twice within a period of 3-6 months. The process of placing a dental implant at our friendly surgery in Hungary is pain-free and very simple. Firstly, the patient is assessed for suitability. A clinical examination is performed and this is supplemented with X-rays. |

Our dental surgeon has been placing implants for two decades in Hungary. Dental implants used in Hungary are of Western European origin. We use the implant-systems Camlog and Fullplant( KG).
After a healing period of 3-6 months, on your second visit, impressions are taken and the crowns or the prosthesis are prepared.
Both times you have to spend one week in Hungary.

Dental implants are today's preferred method of tooth replacement as they preserve the bone, maintain the integrity of the facial structure and can be implanted without the need to “grind down” adjacent teeth as would be the case with for example a bridge. There are many Advantages of dental implants, such as: |
|
| |
- Maintain the integrity of facial structures
- Do not destroy the adjacent teeth
- Provide a superior long-term solution aesthetics
- Closely resemble the appearance of natural teeth
- Restore lost lip support
- Minimise wrinkles around the mouth
- Eliminate the pain of ill-fitting dentures
- Feel and function exactly the same as natural teeth

Common Implant Restorations |
|
| |
-
If the restorative treatment involves replacing one tooth, a single implant will be placed.
-
If the restorative treatment involves replacing more than one tooth, more than one implant will be needed, but not necessarily one for each missing tooth.
-
In multiple tooth replacement, the restoration can be attached in various ways:
-
Fixed: so only your dentist can remove it. The restoration may be fixed using either cement or screws.
-
Removable: using a bar with retentive attachments, such as clips

Basically, a small titanium screw creates an artificial tooth root which provides the support a tooth crown needs to withstand the pressures of everyday use. While this metal root bonds to the bone, the patient wears a temporary tooth. A few months later an extension is attached to the metal root, and finally a custom-made artificial crown is created which is attached with cement or a screw to look just like a natural tooth. |

Implants are successful because the Titanium surface has been specially treated so that it attaches itself to the surrounding bone. Titanium is also very biocompatible and does not elicit any ‘rejection like,' response from the body tissues. In addition, one enormous advantage is that Titanium dental implants are not susceptible to disease processes that commonly affect natural teeth such as dental decay or gum disease. |
